Η φετινή σεζόν στην Ιταλία ξεκινά με το Κύπελλο και το Σούπερ Καπ, ενώ οι ομάδες της Serie A μπαίνουν στον αγώνα από τις 9 Αυγούστου. Η Juventus είναι η ομάδα με τις περισσότερες κατακτήσεις στο Coppa Italia, αλλά οι Milan και Roma ακολουθούν κοντά. Ο νικητής του Coppa Italia προκρίνεται αυτόματα στο UEFA Europa League και στο Supercoppa Italiana για την επόμενη σεζόν. Οι τελικοί των Supercoppa διεξάγονται μέχρι το 2027 στο γήπεδο του Novasports. Στην Ολλανδία, η Eredivisie ξεκινά με τον αντίπαλο του Παναθηναϊκού, τον Ajax, και την Feyenoord να διεκδικούν τον τίτλο.
