Δύο άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους σε συντρίμμια ξενοδοχείου στο Κρεβ της Ρηνανίας – Παλατινάτου, μετά κατάρρευσης οροφής και ενός ορόφου. Άλλοι 6 άνθρωποι, συμπεριλαμβανομένου ενός παιδιού, απεγκλωβίστηκαν. Ένα αγόρι 2 ετών απεγκλωβίστηκε σε καλή κατάσταση, ενώ ο πατέρας του παραμένει εγκλωβισμένος. Οι επιχειρήσεις συνεχίζονται, χρησιμοποιώντας εξειδικευμένο εξοπλισμό και σκύλους. Ο εισαγγελέας διερευνά τα αίτια της καταρρεύσεως, ενώ ο υπουργός Εσωτερικών ευχαρίστησε τους διασώστες. Το ξενοδοχείο έχει ιστορία από τον 17ο αιώνα και δομή από τα ’80. Ο Επίτιμος Επίτροπος της Υπηρεσίας Πολιτικής Προστασίας, Γεργκ Τόις, χαρακτήρισε το γεγονός σαν “χάρτινο πύργο”. Οι σκέψεις όλων είναι στα θύματα και τις οικογένειές τους.
