The release of the new Call of Duty ****** Ops 6 is imminent, and Activision is taking the opportunity to launch a new cinematic trailer that previews what’s coming in the game’s Zombies mode. Players are very excited to see how the lore of this mode continues to expand with new characters.

Edward Richtofen is mentioned in this trailer, which has the code name Terminus. He originally appeared in the second game of this series. Everything points to this mode returning to its origins and adding more story than ever before.

hope to try this mode in some sort of open beta a bit before the release. The trailer states that the story will take place in 1991, matching the story mode. In some instances, everything related to this mode took place in a completely different timeline.

The new lore will feature Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie “Mac” Carver, Oskar Strauss, William *****, and Maya Aguinaldo as playable characters. This video and preview of the anticipated mode are unique in that they don’t feature any of the enemies players will encounter.

The trailer has focused entirely on the characters, showing them in a kind of remote prison in the Philippines. It is likely the first map players will experience. Everything points to this being the first mission.

****** Ops 6 will arrive on October 25 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The franchise continues to support the previous generation of consoles to avoid losing active players who have not yet found a reason to make the leap to the new generation.
