Each of the Hellbreach dungeons work with the same format, though have small differences with mini-boss fights and modifiers among them. Players will encounter each of the dungeons during the Season of the Infernal Hordes questline, but is great for starting characters to gear up beforehand. These are relatively short dungeons for players to get a taste of the Infernal Hordes that will appear in World Tier 3. The first area has players defeating several mini-bosses that will drop Burning Aether. Once collected, players will be prompted with a choice between two modifiers that will make the next area *******. The second area is more of the same, but the modifiers to pick are much ******* and optional. Choosing one of the modifiers for the boss area will give you one chance to ****** the boss. However, you will be awarded with more Burning Aether. Defeating the simple boss will spawn three chests with different Aether costs. Doing the hardest modifier will leave you with 20 Burning Aether to unlock the highest chest. Burning Aether will disappear after completing the dungeon and does not carry over to others.
