Ο πρόεδρος του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ και ο πρόεδρος του ΠΑΣΟΚ συνεχάρησαν τον Μίλτο Τεντόγλου για την κατάκτηση του χρυσού μεταλλίου στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες στο Παρίσι. Ο Στέφανος Κασσελάκης δήλωσε: “Δεύτερο συνεχόμενο χρυσό Ολυμπιακό μετάλλιο. Σε ευχαριστούμε για το πρώτο χρυσό μετάλλιο στους φετινούς αγώνες. Συγχαρητήρια!”. Ενώ ο Νίκος Ανδρουλάκης αναφέρθηκε στον Μίλτο ως έναν αθλητή που έχει κερδίσει τις καρδιές όλων των Ελλήνων με το ηθικό του και την αμεσότητά του και τον χαρακτήρισε ως έναν παγκόσμιο θρύλο του άλματος εις μήκος. Συνολικά, οι ευχαριστίες και οι επαίνοι δόθηκαν στον αθλητή για την μεγάλη του επίτευξη και την περηφάνια που προσέφερε σε όλους.
