Η τελευταία στιγμή αλλαγή στην ενδκάδα του ΠΑΟΚ για τον αγώνα με τη Μάλμε έγινε λόγω ενοχλήσεων του Ότο κατά την προθέρμανση. Έτσι, ο Σάστρε θα αντικαταστήσει τον τραυματία στο δεξί άκρο της άμυνας. Η ενδεκάδα που θα ξεκινήσει το ματς περιλαμβάνει τους: Κοτάρσκι – Σάστρε, Κετζιόρα, Κουλιεράκης, Μπάμπα – Σβαμ, Οζντόγεφ – Ζίβκοβιτς, Κωσταντέλιας, Τάισον – Τόμας. Η αλλαγή αυτή έρχεται λίγο πριν την έναρξη του παιχνιδιού στις 06 Αυγούστου στις 20:00, και μεταδίδεται από το Novasports Prime. Ο προπονητής Λουτσέσκου πήρε αυτήν την απόφαση λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την καλή εμφάνιση του Σάστρε και την ανάγκη για σταθερότητα στην άμυνα, πριν την αγωνιστική αναμέτρηση στον τελικό προκριματικό γύρο του Champions League.
