Silent Hill 2 Remake developer Bloober Team wants fans to give its version of the beloved survival horror game a chance.

that Bloober Team appreciates fans offering their feedback on Silent Hill 2, which he said has been "invaluable in refining our project before its release," but admitted the developers need to ignore some chatter to focus "on their creative work with peace of mind."

Gameplay has caused some concern the remake is changing too much from the original and becoming too action focused. But even Bloober Team itself said

Babieno said there may be some changes fans don't anticipate, but he hopes fans will understand why they were made upon playing it for themselves.

"We tried to make all possible fans happy, but, at the same time, be very faithful to ourselves," he said. "I really hope that when people play for the first time, they will understand that the choices we made were the best possible."
