Η Ρεμπέκα Αντράντε αναδείχθηκε νικήτρια στις ασκήσεις εδάφους στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού, κατακτώντας το χρυσό μετάλλιο με βαθμολογία 14.166. Η αμερικανίδα Σιμόν Μπάιλς κατέλαβε τη δεύτερη θέση με 14.133 βαθμούς, ενώ η συμπατριώτισσά της, Τζόρνταν Τσάιλς, πήρε το χάλκινο μετάλλιο με 13.766 βαθμούς. Αυτό ήταν το τέταρτο Ολυμπιακό μετάλλιο για την Αντράντε στις φετινές Αγώνες και το έκτο στην καριέρα της. Η Σιμόν Μπάιλς πρόσθεσε ακόμα ένα μετάλλιο στη συλλογή της, κατακτώντας το τέταρτο μετάλλιο στο Παρίσι και το 11ο στην συνολική της καριέρα.
