Ο Ρόμπερτ Χουγκάζ, γεννημένος το 2000 και με ύψος 2,06 μέτρα, αποφάσισε να επιστρέψει στον Πανιώνιο μετά από τη θητεία του στο Northwestern State University στις ΗΠΑ. Ο ίδιος, μαζί με τον αδερφό του Νίκο, ξεκίνησαν να παίζουν μπάσκετ στα τμήματα υποδομής του Πανιωνίου, ακολουθώντας τα βήματα του πατέρα τους, Κρις, ο οποίος και αυτός ήταν πρώην παίκτης και προπονητής της ομάδας. Μετά την εμπειρία του στο Περιστέρι και στον Εθνικό Πειραιά, ο Χουγκάζ αποφάσισε να συνδυάσει μπάσκετ και σπουδές στις ΗΠΑ, ενώ πλέον είναι έτοιμος να επιστρέψει στην Ελλάδα. Η ΚΑΕ Πανιώνιος εξέφρασε τη χαρά της για την επιστροφή του Χουγκάζ και εύχεται μια επιτυχημένη σεζόν γεμάτη υγεία για τον νεαρό αθλητή.
