Η νέα δημοσκόπηση που δόθηκε στη δημοσιότητα αναφέρει ότι η Κάμαλα Χάρις έχει ξεπεράσει στην πρόθεση ψήφου τον Ντόναλντ Τραμπ. Αν και το προβάδισμα της είναι μικρό, αποτελεί σημαντική αλλαγή στον αντιπροεδρικό αγώνα. Οι επιθέσεις του Τραμπ εναντίον της Χάρις δεν φάνηκαν να έχουν επηρεάσει τους ψηφοφόρους, καθώς η υποστήριξη προς αυτήν είναι υψηλή, ιδιαίτερα από γυναίκες και μαύρους ψηφοφόρους. Η Χάρις θα πρέπει να διατηρήσει αυτή την θετική δυναμική μέχρι τις εκλογές τον Νοέμβριο.
