Three-year-old girl rushed to hospital after road train and two cars collide on Tonkin Hwy, Perth

A young girl has been seriously injured after a road truck and two vehicles collided on a major highway in Western Australia.

Emergency services were called to Tonkin Hwy near Perth Airport after a Volvo truck and two cars collided near the intersection of Dunreath Rd.

The three-year-old girl, who was travelling in a Mazda 3, was rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.

A second child was also taken to Perth Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and two other woman aged in their 30s were taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police, St John WA paramedics and the Department of ***** and Emergency Services attended the scene of the serious collision.
