more than six years after the incident, the man charged in the ********* could also now be charged with *********, officials say.

In August 2017, police found Andre Jones in critical condition with a gunshot wound in a car in the 700 block of NW 91. A woman in the car was also shot.

The woman was taken to OU Medical Center and treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police reported. Jones was also hospitalized at OU Medical Center.

Six years later, police said Andre Jones, 48, ***** Jan. 11.

The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled that Jones ***** as a result of the *********, therefore his ****** was ruled a *********.

Jeffrey Garcia, 32, was sentenced to prison for the *********.

The Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office will determine whether additional charges will be filed against Garcia.
