Swanbourne beach marine rescue: Police, RAC helicopter & AMSA challenger jet attend EPIRB activation

A marine rescue has taken place off the coast of Perth this afternoon after an 8-metre vessel with four people on board sent out a distress call.

The call for help was made at around 1.15pm today, when an emergency position indicating radio beacon was activated 75km off the coast of Swanbourne Beach, prompting the rescue operation.
