It’s 2am in Paris, and Eloise Connell has just completed two high-energy, nearly two-hour performances in sequins and feathers at the Moulin Rouge.

The Perth-born performer is still riding the wave of adrenaline as she changes into cosy loungewear to settle down in the kitchen of her Montmartre apartment as much of the City of Light sleeps.
