is reportedly planning to release a native version of Minecraft for PlayStation 5.

That’s according to PlayStation Game Size, a social media account that regularly reveals games early by trawling the backend of Sony’s console store.

Currently, only the PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft is playable on PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility. The Xbox version was recently updated to support 4K, though users have long been waiting for an optimised current-gen version.
