How to Download Minecraft on PC

After purchasing either Minecraft or the PC Game Pass, you should not be able to download the Minecraft Launcher. Once the Minecraft Launcher is installed, you can now select which Minecraft version you’d like to download. There’s two versions of Minecraft, which are:

• Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

Both of these editions are included with your purchase of Minecraft, and from here, you just need to decide which version you’d like to play.

There have been endless debates on which version is better, but for simplicity’s sake, I would suggest Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for those wanting to play with a controller on PCs and with lower-grade computers and Minecraft: Java Edition for those who have a more powerful computer and want a large section of different multiplayer servers.

One thing to note: Minecraft: Bedrock Edition does include a paid marketplace where players can buy cosmetic items for real-life money; Minecraft: Java Edition does not. This might be an important factor for those with children.
