Imagine this: you’re at the top of a ladder, you’re positioning yourself to climb down, and you accidentally run right off. In most games, you’d ****. But not in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Here, your loyal pawns spring into action to catch you mid-fall.

As I mentioned earlier, pawns come and help you when you’re in danger, and they really have no trouble roughing up anyone. One player was escorting a little **** away from danger and tried picking them up as they walked slowly. The **** didn’t like that and immediately started swinging.

One player was separated from their pawns by a ton of explosive barrels blocking the path in a *****. Sensing danger ahead, their pawns took matters into their own hands and decided to clear the path—by blowing up the barrels and nearly dying in the process.

DD2’s Developers Heard Players’ Pleas

DD2 is more than its faults.

We’ve all seen the bad reviews the game’s gotten since its release, but that isn’t the full story. The performance and save issues still exist, but Capcom has promised a ton of new updates that it’s currently working to implement.

This includes a way to start a new game even when saved data already exists, miscellaneous bug fixes, and more.

For PS5 and XSX/S players, they’ll be able to toggle some graphics options and lock FPS to 30. The team has also planned for frame rate improvements in the future.
