Some Call of Duty Fans Don’t Care About ****** Ops 6 or Modern Warfare 3, and Want the Sequel to Another, Less Popular Entry Instead

****** Ops 6 is close to its release and the anticipation is high for the game. Like most Call of Duty games, expectations are high from the upcoming title, especially given that ****** Ops is one of the more popular series in the franchise.

While the release of the new game is exciting, some fans are more interested in seeing a sequel in another series within the franchise that Activision hasn’t fully explored yet. The fans believe revisiting and expanding upon these less-explored stories could be refreshing rather than continuing a series with multiple games.

Call of Duty Needs to Look Beyond Popular Series

****** Ops and Modern Warfare are arguably the two most popular Call of Duty series, so it makes sense that Activision focuses more on these lines. However, there are plenty of other series/games that can be further explored, offering fresh narratives.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the prime example of venturing into uncharted territory, illustrating how the franchise could benefit from exploring less conventional themes and settings.

Furthermore, the standalone game in the series was released in 2016, so it’s high time Infinity Ward works on releasing Infinite Warfare 2. Given that we just received a new Modern Warfare game last year, it’s about time for Activision to explore a different approach.

. The user shared a meme that rather than swinging between ****** Ops and Modern Warfare back and forth, it might be time to deliver Infinite Warfare 2.

It’s also worth pointing out that the game’s space setting is quite different from what we usually get to see in other Call of Duty games, which are more geared towards war-torn environments. Moreover, Infinite Warfare included the popular “Zombies in Spaceland” map, which offers a zombie survival experience famous in Call of Duty games but with a twist.

It’s fair to say that expectations are big for the upcoming game. Although commercially, Call of Duty games are bound to be successful, simply due to the legacy, the gameplay itself has received mixed reviews regarding recent games.

Regardless, Treyarch’s upcoming title looks promising with exciting new features. The most notable introduction will be the new Omnimovement system, which will allow players to be super flexible with movements while *********.

Theatre Mode is also returning, which is great news for every fan. The feature will allow players to clip gameplay on a whim and share it with others with just a few clicks. Furthermore, it will eliminate the need for any third-party app to record gameplay.
