Candlewood Trailer Park incident ends in ********* arrest

) — Deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office made a ********* arrest at Candlewood Trailer Park in Clifton Wednesday night.

At 7:46 p.m., deputies arrived at the trailer park, located at 424 32 Road in Clifton, after receiving a report of an ********. The caller stated two people were being assaulted by a man in front of their home.

When deputies arrived, they found an ****** woman with multiple injuries and an ****** man who was severely injured and unresponsive. CPR was administered to the man, but after attempts were unsuccessful he was pronounced ***** at the scene. The woman was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

The suspect was quickly located and agreed to speak with investigators. Shortly after, 25-year-old William Lovett was arrested and is currently being held on the following charges:

The Mesa County Coroner’s Office is responsible for determining the cause and manner of ****** and the victim’s identity. This is an active investigation; no further information is available at this time.
