Former NRL star Ethan Lowe loses legal battle with insurer

Former NRL star Ethan Lowe has lost his legal stoush with the game’s insurer, with a Federal Court judge dismissing his lawsuit relating to a career-ending injury.

Lowe, 33, launched proceedings in Federal Court against the NRL’s insurer, Lloyd’s of London, after it determined he was ineligible for a policy covering paralysis.
