Western Power to install nesting platforms in Geraldton and Lancelin to protect osprey hawk populations

Western Power will donate a timber nesting platform to Menshed Geraldton to help support the protection of ospreys, after the first pole installed in Lancelin in 2019 helped nurture a nest of baby chicks.

Two new nesting poles will be installed in Geraldton and Lancelin after healthy osprey chicks were discovered nesting on the first platform during recent monitoring.
