Το ανοιχτό ευρωπαϊκό πρωτάθλημα ILCA 6 Youth στη Βόρεια Ιρλανδία διεξήχθη υπό δύσκολες καιρικές συνθήκες, με ελάχιστο αέρα που συνέτεινε στη δυσκολία ολοκλήρωσης του προγράμματος. Μόνο μία ιστιοδρομία πραγματοποιήθηκε, με τους Έλληνες να ξεχωρίζουν στην κατηγορία U17. Ο Κωνσταντίνος Πορτοσάλτε κατέλαβε την 8η θέση στη γενική κατάταξη και την 2η θέση στην κατηγορία U17, ενώ ο Χαράλαμπος Βελιανίτης βρέθηκε στην 10η θέση γενικά και στην 3η θέση U17. Επίσης, ο Αλέξανδρος Κυφίδης και ο Αλέξανδρος Ελευθεριάδης είχαν καλές εμφανίσεις. Στα κορίτσια, η Κλεοπάτρα Αναστασίου βρέθηκε στην 5η θέση γενικά, ενώ η Αργυρώ Κουραβέλου κατετάγη 7η, κοντά της, στην 9η θέση. Η ανταγωνιστική φύση των νέων ιστιοπλόων είχε την ευκαιρία να λάμψει με τις εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις τους.
