Η Πυροσβεστική υπηρεσία ενισχύθηκε στην κατασβέση μιας πυρκαγιάς σε χαμηλή βλάστηση στην Αγία Μαρίνα Κορωπίου. Η πυρκαγιά εκδηλώθηκε κοντά σε κατοικημένη περιοχή και επιχειρούν 75 πυροσβέστες, 4 ομάδες δασοκομάντων, 30 οχήματα και από αέρος 2 αεροσκάφη και 5 ελικόπτερα. Υπάρχουν εθελοντές και υδροφόρες ΟΤΑ που παρέχουν βοήθεια. Κάτοικοι κλήθηκαν μέσω μηνυμάτων να εκκενώσουν τις περιοχές Μεγάλο Μετόχι και Ξελαφτάκι Αγίας Μαρίνας Κορωπίου. Συνολικά, έχουν εκδοθεί τρία μηνύματα ασφάλειας μέσω του 112, προειδοποιώντας τους κατοίκους να παραμείνουν ειδοποιημένοι και να ακολουθήσουν τις οδηγίες των αρχών. Η κατάσταση παρακολουθείται στενά και η πυρκαγιά προσπαθεί να ελεγχθεί πριν εξαπλωθεί περισσότερο.
