West Coast Eagles name Jeremy McGovern, Liam Duggan and Clay Hall to face Gold Coast

West Coast have been boosted by the return of co-captain Liam Duggan and Jeremy McGovern as they prepare to try to extend Gold Coast’s losing streak away from home.

The Eagles have made six changes from the side that lost western derby 59 by 35 points at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

Tom Barrass and Luke Edwards will both miss with concussion, while Josh Rotham is also out with an abdominal issue.

They join Jack Petruccelle and Jack Hutchinson on the sidelines after they were suspended in the clash against Fremantle, while sub Jai Culley has been omitted.

Duggan and McGovern are joined by defender Alex Witherden in the side, while Clay Hall will make his debut.

Forward Tyrell Dewar will play his fourth game and first since round 11, after making his debut making his debut in round nine against Collingwood.

Draftee wingman Harvey Johnston also returns for his third game having been the sub twice in rounds eight and nine of this season.

Midfielder Zane Trew has been passed fit to play despite being hospitalised with a neck injury he sustained at the opening bounce of the round 20 clash against the Dockers.

Gold Coast have made two changes with Alex Sexton and Brayden Fiorini coming into the team with ruckman Ned Moyle and Tom Berry both omitted.
