Pokémon Go events schedule’s here, and while it’s a little less exciting than July’s Pokemon Go Fest and Ultra Unlock events, there are still a few decent things to look forward to.

In terms of new Pokémon debuts, there is currently nothing to get excited about. The first event of the year focuses on already obtainable fossil Pokémon and their Shiny forms, which have all been available for a while now. There might be some surprises later down the line, though, depending on what Niantic has in store for everyone.
