City of Karratha backs Roebourne Post Office upgrades with $100k funding

The City of Karratha has backed Nyarliyandu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation’s plans to upgrade facilities at Roebourne Post Office, contributing $100,000 to the installation of two new demountable buildings at the July council meeting.

Former Roebourne post shop licensee Garry Bailey retired after more than three decades at the helm in February this year, leaving the service with an uncertain future before NBAC became the official licensee in early March.
