Star Wars Outlaws is the big upcoming title from Ubisoft Massive that is going to deliver the first proper open-world experience in the series. Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, it follows the story of Kay Vess, who is a scoundrel navigating the galaxy’s ********* underworld.

Players can expect to engage in bounty hunting, space dogfights, and faction choices and reputations that impact their journey. The game’s focus on freedom and exploration is similar to the recent *********’s Creed games.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has players play as Cal Kestis, who is a young Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66. The game is set in a dark ******* where the Jedi are hunted by the Empire, and as such, Cal encounters some dangerous Inquisitors from the Empire.

Players navigate through stunning environments with platforming and other traversal mechanics, solve puzzles, and engage in challenging combat with both lightsabers and some fun Force powers. The game’s narrative is also very compelling and well done, filled with intense moments and some great character development.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II is a classic RPG from 2003 that offers some deep storytelling and very complex characters and interactions. It’s a precursor to the Mass Effect series, and you can see the original inspiration in gameplay mechanics such as your ship and companions, along with their bonds, and traveling across various planets in the galaxy.

Set thousands of years before the events of the movies, it allows players to explore the moral complexities of the Force. The game’s dark and mature narrative, combined with the ability to shape your character’s destiny through meaningful choices and character decisions, makes for a very rich RPG experience.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter has gamers play as Jango Fett, one of the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunters. Released in 2002, this game explores the backstory of the character who serves as the genetic template for the Republic’s clone army. The game is set before the events of ******* of the Clones.

In this game, players use an arsenal of weapons and gadgets, including Jango’s iconic dual-blaster pistols and jetpack. The game features a wide array of environments and really makes you feel like a bounty hunter. A remaster of the game was just recently released on the 1st of August.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to Fallen Order, continuing the story of Cal Kestis. Players once again take on the role of the young Jedi, but this time featuring two semi-open world planets that can be freely explored and mounts for quick travel.

The game builds on its predecessor’s combat system, offering even more fluid and dynamic lightsaber battles with new stances and Force abilities. The narrative goes deeper into Cal’s journey, exploring themes of survival, resilience, and hope. This was another solid entry in the franchise and the next installment is already in active development.
