Η Εθνική Εφήβων ηττήθηκε από το Βέλγιο με 66-62 στο Eurobasket U18 στη Φιλανδία και ολοκλήρωσε τη συμμετοχή της στη διοργάνωση με μια νίκη και τρεις ήττες. Οι Βέλγοι προηγήθηκαν στα τελευταία λεπτά του αγώνα με τρίποντο που δεν άφησε χώρο στην ελληνική ομάδα για ανατροπή. Με μπλόκ και κλεψίματα, η άμυνα των Βελγών απέτρεψε την επίθεση της Ελλάδας. Αν και η Εθνική ξεκίνησε δυνατά, στο τέλος δεν κατάφερε να διατηρήσει το προβάδισμά της. Η τρίτη περίοδος ήταν ανταγωνιστική, όμως στην τέταρτη κατέρρευσε.
