Reactors are an integral part of The First Descendant as they can be used to boost the power of players’ characters. Many players farm for a specific reactor type, optimization conditions, and skill power boost ratio but there is one thing that players can’t choose: the bottom stats or the multipliers.

Players find this very frustrating as these multipliers can be random and if players get an ineffective combination, it completely ruins the gaming experience. A player suggested that Nexon should allow players to “readjust” these stats.

In this viral post on the r/TheFirstDescendant subreddit, a player has suggested that Nexon Games should give players an option to readjust the multipliers similar to weapons for Reactors in The First Descendant.

Players can farm a specific Reactor type, optimization conditions, and skill power boost ratio but the multiplier is random.

The player explained that sometimes the game can give you a useless multiplier like a ***** Power Boost on a Frozen Singularity Reactor. Nexon Games needs to address a lot of things as this is one of the many issues that players have come across in The First Descendant.

There are two ways players can obtain reactors: the first way is to buy them from Deslin, the ******* Lab Director, however, the reactors he has available are only level 1. The second way to obtain high-tier and high-level Reactors is by completing missions.

How To Farm Reactors In The First Descendant

It is very important for players to understand that they need to beat the main campaign in order to start farming since that unlocks the Hard mode. In Hard mode, players can also unlock Level 100 Reactors.

After switching to Hard mode, players need to open the reward menu that displays every unique drop table in Hard mode, giving players every unique combination of Reactors they can farm in that particular week.

A set reactor drops throughout the week in a particular zone in the game and these reactors are broken up into three subtypes: Element, Ammo Type, and Skill Type. Drop sources for reactors and external components change every Tuesday at 12:30 UTC.

The First Descendant was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 2nd July 2024 and in less than a month, the game has become one of the most popular games in the world.
