Ο Έλληνας ιστιοπλόος Βύρων Κοκκαλάνης ολοκλήρωσε τις προσπάθειές του στο Windsurfing IQFoil στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες “Παρίσι 2024” καταλαμβάνοντας την 17η θέση στην 10η ιστιοδρομία. Με αυτή την επίδοση, παραμένει στην 21η θέση της γενικής κατάταξης με 125 βαθμούς ποινής. Στις σημερινές κούρσες, ακυρώθηκε σε δύο ιστιοδρομίες και κατέκτησε την 19η θέση σε μία. Ο Γερμανός Σεμπάστιαν Κέρντελ κέρδισε την 10η κούρσα, ενώ ο Αυστραλός Γκρέι Μόρις και ο Δανός Γιόχαν Σόε συμπλήρωσαν την πρώτη τριάδα. Ο Μόρις βρίσκεται στην πρώτη θέση της γενικής κατάταξης, ακολουθούμενος από τον Πολωνό Πάβελ Ταρνόφσκι και τον Ισραηλινό Τομ Ρεουβενί. Οι αγώνες διεξάγονται στη Μασσαλία και συνεχίζονται με τον Κοκκαλάνη να επιδιώκει καλύτερες επιδόσεις.
