Ο Γιούργκεν Κλοπ διέψευσε τα σενάρια που τον συνδέουν με την τεχνική ηγεσία της αγγλικής εθνικής ομάδας ποδοσφαίρου. Ο Γερμανός προπονητής επιβεβαίωσε ότι δεν υπάρχει καμία επαφή σχετικά και ότι δεν σκοπεύει να εργαστεί την επόμενη σεζόν. Αναφέρει πως όταν θα είναι έτοιμος, θα εξετάσει τις προτάσεις, ίσως το επόμενο καλοκαίρι. Ο ίδιος είπε πως δεν είναι αρκετά γέρος για να σκεφτεί τη σύνταξη και απλά θέλει να ξεκουραστεί. Κλοπ επιβεβαίωσε την πρόθεσή του να μην αναλάβει νέα ομάδα στο εγγύς μέλλον και κράτησε τη θέση του να μείνει απέναντι στις φήμες που τον ήθελαν στην εθνική της Αγγλίας.
