Η Ελισάβετ Τελτσίδου αποκλείστηκε από το Ολυμπιακό τουρνουά Τζούντο μετά την ήττα της στους «16» της κατηγορίας -70κ. γυναικών. Η Έλληνα τζουντόκα δήλωσε ότι αισθάνεται απογοητευμένη για την πρόωρη αποκλειστική της από τη διοργάνωση. Σχετικά με την ήττα της, ανέφερε ότι ίσως έπρεπε να έχει περισσότερη ψυχραιμία και υπομονή κατά τη διάρκεια του αγώνα. Ευχαρίστησε την οικογένειά της και τους φίλους της για τη στήριξή τους και αναφέρθηκε στη δυσκολία της στιγμής μετά από πολλά χρόνια προετοιμασίας. Ωστόσο, αμφισβητεί τη δυνατότητά της να συνεχίσει τον αθλητισμό. Παρά την αποτυχία, υπογράμμισε ότι το μέλλον εξαρτάται από τη δική της δύναμη και αποφασιστικότητα.
