Ο αθλητής Αντώνης Παπακωνσταντίνου και ο Πέτρος Γκαϊδατζής θα λάβουν μέρος στον τελικό του διπλού σκιφ ελαφρών βαρών στην κωπηλασία στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού. Οι Έλληνες κωπηλάτες προκρίθηκαν στη δεύτερη θέση της ημιτελικής σειράς με χρόνο 6:23.36, πίσω από τους Ιταλούς. Ο τελικός έχει οριστεί για την Παρασκευή στις 13:02. Στον τελικό θα λάβουν μέρος επίσης οι Ιταλοί και οι Νορβηγοί κωπηλάτες. Το ελληνικό πλήρωμα έδειξε εξαιρετική κατάσταση και έχει ως στόχο την κατάκτηση ενός μεταλλίου στον τελικό. Οι αθλητές δεν είναι μόνο υψηλά εκπαιδευμένοι, αλλά έχουν επίσης επιδείξει αποφασιστικότητα και αντοχή στον αγώνα. Με την υποστήριξη του κοινού, είναι πιθανό να επιτύχουν μεγάλη επίδοση στον τελικό του αγώνα.
