Indonesia raises smoking age, will curb ********** ads

Indonesia has raised the minimum age for buying cigarettes from 18 to 21 as part of changes intended to curb the deadly habit in a country with one of the world’s highest smoking rates.

A country of 270 million people, Indonesia is one of the world’s top producers of tobacco and has about 70 million ****** smokers, according to a 2021 World Health Organisation survey.
