Someone is Suing FromSoft Because Elden Ring is Too Hard

Elden Ring was made to be one of the most challenging games ever – that much is glaringly obvious. It fits into that niche remarkably well and is arguably the most important game in the category, overpowering the likes of Dark Souls, Sekiro, and perhaps even Bloodborne. However, that fact doesn’t sit well with everyone, and one player in particular has taken that notion farther than anyone else, announcing that they’re seeking legal action against FromSoftware, Elden Ring’s developer.

Why are they suing the legendary game creator? Because Elden Ring is too hard.

, talk of content being hidden behind a wall of difficulty that even the most skilled players won’t ever reach, thus making the game either half unplayable or inherently unfair.

It’s a bit wild, admittedly.

Per the posts, the user claims they’re taking FromSoftware (and Bandai Namco) to court on September 25, based on the following:

My ‘Elden Ring’ lawsuit (that) claims we have only played HALF of FROM SOFTWARE’s games and a whole new game is hidden inside, and that it’s too hard to access for even its most dedicated fans.

This is where it starts to fall apart, with the player stressing that they’ve been turned ‘insane’ because of Hidetaka Miyazaki’s mission to have players ‘break the shackles of humanity’. They then start talking about a parallel universe theory and reference this as having been an issue with other games, like Sekiro.
