Luxury apartment builder Mercedes Construction, backed by shareholders of Zorzi Builders, hits the wall

A commercial builder which had advertised that it was backed by Zorzi Builders — one of the industry’s most prominent names — has called in administrators.

Osborne Park-based Mercedes Construction was put in the hands of Bankruptcy Advisory Centre’s Ross Thomson on Monday, a filing to the corporate regulator shows.
