Η ελληνική ιστιοπλοΐα βιώνει μεγάλες στιγμές δόξας σε όλες τις κατηγορίες, με την επίδοση νέων ταλαντούχων αθλητών να ξεχωρίζει. Στο πρόσφατο ευρωπαϊκό πρωτάθλημα 420 και 470 Junior στη Θεσσαλονίκη, το ελληνικό πλήρωμα των Κωνσταντίνας Ραγκούση και Αντωνίας Χρυσούλας Καβάλλη αναδείχθηκε πρωταθλητής στην κατηγορία 420 U15. Αποδεικνύοντας το ταλέντο τους σε τόσο νεαρή ηλικία, αυτές οι νεαρές ιστιοπλόοι υπόσχονται λαμπρό μέλλον. Επιπλέον, σε άλλες κατηγορίες του αγώνα, ελληνικά πληρώματα επικράτησαν εξαιρετικά, με συνολικά 14 μετάλλια, εκ των οποίων 8 χρυσά και 6 ασημένια. Η επιτυχία αυτή αναδεικνύει την ποιότητα της ελληνικής ιστιοπλοΐας και τον ανερχόμενο ρόλο των νέων αθλητών στον χώρο.
