Ο ποδοσφαιριστής Φώτης Ιωαννίδης δεν πρόκειται να πωληθεί από την ομάδα του Παναθηναϊκού, παρά τα μεταγραφικά σενάρια που κυκλοφορούν. Ο 24χρονος επιθετικός επιθυμεί να συνεχίσει την καριέρα του σε ένα καλύτερο πρωτάθλημα και ζήτησε συνάντηση με τον πρόεδρο της ομάδας, Γιάννη Αλαφούζο, για να συζητήσουν το μέλλον του. Ωστόσο, ο Αλαφούζος αρνήθηκε το ραντεβού και είναι εξαγριωμένος με τους εκπροσώπους του Ιωαννίδη. Απειλεί ακόμα με νομικές ενέργειες εξαιτίας των διαπραγματεύσεων που κρατάνε με άλλες ομάδες. Ο Ιωαννίδης είναι διχασμένος ανάμεσα στην αγάπη του για τον Παναθηναϊκό και τον πειρασμό να αποχωρήσει για ένα καλύτερο πρωτάθλημα και συμβόλαιο. Η Σπόρτινγκ είναι η πρώτη επιλογή του για μετακίνηση.
