Marvel Rivals Game Has Some Flaws But Fans Are More Concerned About the Daughter of Galactus, Galacta

Marvel fans will soon be getting yet another addition to their video game collection of the superheroes and supervillains league: Marvel Rivals. But this new Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter video game, which has only been revealed recently, seems to have more than one thing that gamers are concerned about.

For instance, the fact that Marvel’s planet-eating cosmic deity Galactus has been introduced in this too, but only in the form of a female character. Yet, even that’s not all that concerning, considering how fans and gamers are even more apprehensive about one other character of this game: The daughter of Galactus, Galacta!

recently took to the social media platform to release the first look at Marvel’s next upcoming game: Marvel Rivals. The tweet included a trailer of the video game along with the caption claiming it as being “the greatest Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter” game.

But this game has one too many concerning features, as fans pointed out in the comment section. One of these is inevitably the fact that the game introduced fans to a female Galactus, i.e. one of the lesser-known characters from Marvel: Galacta.

Since there may be many who may be unaware of who she is, here’s an overview: She’s the teenage daughter of Marvel’s planet-eating cosmic deity but is inevitably the complete opposite of him in her personality.

In the comics, she is more loving and caring towards humanity and all creatures, and despite being almost an equally great cosmic powerhouse herself as her parent, prefers to make use of her hunger for better causes than her father.

Because of this and the infrequency with which she has been mentioned throughout this time, some fans are worried that including Galacta in the game might not be the best choice as she may not align with the canon of the comics. Here’s what those fans are saying:

Yet, since this was only an overview, and the game is yet to be fully received, nothing can be said for sure now about how this infrequently brought-up character could affect this particular one of Marvel’s upcoming video games.

But there is more to this story than that. And by more, we mean all the more problems that fans and gamers have been pointing out about this game even before its release.

Fans are Pointing Out Marvel Rivals‘ Flaws

While Marvel undoubtedly may have expected this game to become a fan favorite, a majority of the responses that it is getting are unarguably on the downfall side. This is because while some fans are indeed anticipating this, others are greatly put off by one too many features of it.

For instance, the fact that it will only be available to be played on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and not on consoles, has fans complaining how they had been waiting so long for it, only to be faced with such a disappointment.

Adding to this are multiple other complaints from gamers about how it looks like it is AI-created, and is actually a third-person shooter, along with problems related to how disconnected it feels. All in all, here’s how some of the fans are reacting to this game:

To put it in a nutshell, Marvel Rivals’ first look has put off a lot of players, especially console gamers. But considering how many fans are still hopeful nonetheless, landing the final verdict seems a bit too soon now, so we’ll let time do the talking.
