How to Make Workers Run Maps in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

Path of Exile players never thought they would see the day when they could have someone else farm for them until the 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur league. The league features a buzzing empire constructed by the players, and you can make those worker bees run maps for you. Here’s how to make workers run maps in Path of Exile.

How to Let Workers Run Your Maps in PoE 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur

To have workers run your maps, you need to establish the Mapping area by constructing it. However, you need to reach level 7 Recruitment before you can start the mapping area. To reach level 7 Recruitment, you need to upgrade all your other areas where you can create Pumpkin, Orgourd, and Verisium Ores.

After reaching level 7 Recruitment, you also need 10,645 gold, 5,000 Thaumaturgic Dusts, and 30 Verisium Bars. Getting Thaumaturgic Dust is the biggest hurdle here so you need to grab those high item level rares and start disenchanting them.

Once you have the requirements, you can build the worker’s map device. You can assign workers, preferably ones with specialization to Mapping, on the map device and start adding some maps. At the start, you can only place white-tier maps. You need to upgrade your Mapping to rank 3 for yellow maps, rank 6 for red maps, rank 10 for influenced maps, and rank 11 for purple or tier 17 maps.

How Does the Worker Map Device Work in Path of Exile?

Once you start placing a map on the map device, you can press “open map” to let your workers start mapping. You can suspend mapping to stop all the workers’ runs, but this also means that the current map they were running will be finished.

You can also hover over the maps placed in the map device to see the risks involved. Your workers can **** from mapping, and they will permanently disappear from your workforce. If you get workers with a higher Mapping skill, the risk will get lower and lower. If a worker *****, the mapping will be suspended until you restart it again.

After each successful run by the workers, you’ll get a notification on the lower-right side of your screen that a map has been finished. Don’t worry. If you place several maps in the device, they’ll continue running them unless you run out of gold for their hourly wages.

The rewards are completely random, but your goal is for each run to give at least 100% of the rewards. Mappers have one of the highest wages in the workforce, so you should be thrifty using this feature.
