. You will not have a chance to return and do any previous quests that you may have missed, and in the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 — the bread and butter of the game are in the side quests. If you’re pushing through the main story and skipping out on these, you’re going to miss some of the best moments of the game.

Even worse than that, you’ll miss out on some of the best vocations that the game can throw your way while being locked into the endgame portion. Sure, there is a New Game Plus option once you bring the story to a wrap, but if you’re hoping to get as much done as possible in one go, avoid completing A New Godsway for the time being. Thankfully, unlike some of the side-quests that are available in the game, the main quests are not time-gated and can’t run out so you have plenty of opportunities to go back and revisit the MSQ whenever.
