IN PICTURES: Dignitaries welcome Motocross Club riders to their new home at Albany Motorsport Park

Hundreds of motorsport enthusiasts gathered on Saturday to celebrate the official opening of a $5m motorsport precinct that will serve as their new home.

Politicians from all levels of Government joined the keen riders to cut the ribbon for the Albany Motorsport Park in a ceremony that acknowledged the many people who helped make the project happen over its decade-long journey.
