Ο προπονητής Γιαννούλης Λαρεντζάκης μίλησε για τον αγώνα της ελληνικής ομάδας μπάσκετ εναντίον της Ισπανίας στο Ολυμπιακό τουρνουά. Ανέφερε πως είναι μία ευκαιρία για νίκη ενάντια σε μία ευρωπαϊκή ομάδα που παίζει στο ίδιο στυλ με την ελληνική. Τόνισε τη σημασία της έντασης στην άμυνα και την ανάγκη για πολλή πίεση πάνω τους. Όσον αφορά τον ενδιαφέρον για τη συμμετοχή στα Ολυμπιακά Αγώνες, τόνισε πως είναι κάτι μοναδικό όταν παίζεις για τη χώρα σου και πως υπάρχει μεγάλη πίεση αλλά και μεγάλη πίστη στην ομάδα. Αναφέρθηκε επίσης στην ένταση που είχε με τον αντίπαλο στον προηγούμενο αγώνα, εξηγώντας πως δεν υπήρξε πρόθεση για διένεξη αλλά αμέσως λύθηκε το θέμα.
