Sparking Zero Can Only Hope to Hit the Same Heights as Kakarot Managed for 1 Character

Future Trunks’ timeline was a sad experience for Dragon Ball fans. To this date, moments from the alternate but cruel reality hold the power to leave the viewers down in the mouths. And Future Gohan was just a hard ***** to the gut, and suddenly everything appeared to be falling into despair.

The evil Android pair is eventually defeated in the series, but the ****** of Goku’s son still bugs a little. Things might have been different, obviously, but he didn’t have to go the way he did in the anime. Thanks to the 2020 CyberConnect2 video game, he got the goodbye he deserved.

That Slight Improvement in the Game Had Fans in Tears

It’s not just the justice that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot does to the characters from the series; the game is more than that. It recreates a lot of moments that deliver nostalgia to the players, and some of them are just better than the original anime.

Some fans were seen adoring one of those recreated moments in the game, and they just can’t get over it.

They know justice was served to our boy. That is what a sigh of relief looks like.

It’s moments like these that hold the power to burst anyone into tears. It seems like one of the fans did tear up after witnessing it.

As the upcoming Spike Chunsoft game, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, is already delivering on its promise to make it as anime-like as possible, it ******** to be seen if it can do this better.

He Never Got to ****** in His Final Moments in the Alternate Dragon Ball Timeline

During the final moments of Future Gohan, what happened in the original series and in the game was slightly different. In the anime, as the evil Android pair is wreaking havoc in an alternate timeline, Gohan and Trunks are all that is left of the Z fighters.

Goku’s son never got a chance to ****** back in his final moments back then. He succumbs to the rapid energy blasts that were sent his way by Androids. While in the game, we can see our hero in an energy clash, giving that last push. Nevertheless, the struggle eventually ends in his demise.

As it is with every story, all chips fall into places. Following the end of Cell Games, Trunks heads back to his timeline and ****** Imperfect Cell before it gets a chance to ***** him. Peace is restored.

For now, fans can feast their eyes on the CyberConnect2 game, as the upcoming Bandai Namco game is still a couple of months away from release.
