Fremantle Dockers star Nat Fyfe to challenge western derby one-match ban at AFL Tribunal

Fremantle will challenge Nat Fyfe’s one-match ban at the AFL Tribunal.

The dual Brownlow Medallist was charged with striking West Coast midfielder Jai Culley during the Dockers’ 35-point western derby victory at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

The incident, which occurred in the second quarter, was graded intentional, low impact and high contact, resulting in a one-match suspension.

The club confirmed on Monday it would challenge the suspension at the AFL Tribunal, which will sit on Tuesday.

The pair have both accepted one-match bans and will be unavailable for the club’s clash with Gold Coast at Optus Stadium on Friday.
