Djarindjin Aboriginal Corporation recognised as governing body of community

Forty years after the Kimberley community was established, the State Government has officially proclaimed the Djarindjin community at a special ceremony.

The Djarindjin community, home to approximately 350 people, is situated 170km north of Broome, within the traditional lands of the Bardi and Jawi people.
