Thousands of West Aussies moving back in with parents, friends as cost of living bites

Thousands of West Australians are having to move in with mum and dad or friends as the cost-of-living crisis deepens.

A recent Finder survey of 1070 Australians found one in nine West Australians — 11 per cent of those surveyed — had moved back in with mum and dad or into shared accommodation over the past year as rental and mortgage hikes took their toll.
