First-year West Coast midfielder Clay Hall in no rush to make long-awaited senior debut

He has consistently been among West Coast’s best WAFL performers in his first year with the club, but hard-nosed midfielder Clay Hall says he is in no rush to make his long-awaited senior debut.

Taken by the Eagles with pick 38 of last year’s national draft after a standout 2023 which saw him put together a strong under-18 national carnival and play nine games of league football with Peel Thunder, the 19-year-old is yet to feature at the top level despite averaging 19.3 disposals and 3.8 tackles per game in the State league this season.
