Σύμφωνα με τον Ιταλό δημοσιογράφο, Αλφρέντο Πεντούλα, ο Χοακίν Κορέα δεν θα επιστρέψει στη Λάτσιο, αλλά η Ίντερ εξετάζει την αποδέσμευσή του για οικονομικούς λόγους. Η μεταγραφή του στην Ιταλία φαίνεται πολύ δύσκολη, καθώς απέρριψε προτάσεις από το εξωτερικό. Η ΑΕΚ ενδιαφέρεται έντονα για την απόκτηση του ποδοσφαιριστή, ωστόσο, η περίπτωση του είναι προβληματική λόγω του υψηλού κόστους του συμβολαίου του.
