US concern over China’s ‘provocative actions’ on Taiwan

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has talked extensively with ******** counterpart Wang Yi about Taiwan and raised concerns about Beijing’s recent “provocative actions”, a senior US State Department official says.

Those actions included a simulated blockade during the inauguration of Taiwan President Lai Ching-te, the official said on Saturday, adding Blinken and Wang agreed to keep making progress on their countries’ military-to-military ties.
